Rare six-planet alignment visible in August skies
A rare planetary alignment will be visible from August 10, with the best viewing expected in the nights before August 23, reports a Kazinform News Agency correspondent.

Six planets—Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune—will appear in an arc across the night sky. Four of them can be seen with the naked eye, while Uranus and Neptune require strong binoculars or a telescope.
The phenomenon will continue until the end of the month, after which Mercury will drop below the horizon. Such an alignment will not occur again until February 2026.
Astronomers advise watching under dark, moonless skies away from artificial light for the clearest view.
Earlier, it was reported that a research team from the Trottier Institute for Research on Exoplanets at the University of Montreal discovered a planet about 35 light years from Earth with characteristics that may make it suitable for life.
