Parliament chambers to hold joint session on May 15

Chairman of the Majilis Yerlan Koshanov on Wednesday signed a decree to convene a joint session of the chambers of parliament of Kazakhstan, Qazinform News Agency reports.
As per subparagraph 2 of paragraph 4 of Article 58 of the Kazakh Constitution, I decree to convene a joint session of the chambers of parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan at 10:00 am on May 15, 2026, in Astana, reads the decree.
Earlier, Qazinform reported the Parliament of Kazakhstan had cleared the initial reading of the draft Constitutional law on the new Qurultay and the Status of Its Deputies.
