Montenegro seeks to adopt Kazakhstan’s digital technologies

Montenegro is interested in learning from Kazakhstan’s experience in digital transformation, President Jakov Milatović said during expanded talks with the Kazakh President in Astana, Qazinform News Agency reports.

He announced several agreements, including an agreement on tourism cooperation between national organizations will be signed following the meeting.

Besides, the Governments agreed on upcoming bilateral accords, including an agreement on justice cooperation, an agreement on economic cooperation, and an agreement on digital transformation cooperation between the relevant ministries.

The President of Montenegro described Kazakhstan as a regional leader in digitalization, noting its significant expertise and know-how.

He emphasized that Montenegro hopes to adopt Kazakhstan’s technologies.

Earlier, an official welcoming ceremony was held at the Palace of Independence for President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović, who arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Jakov Milatović held talks in restricted attendance.
