Kazakhstan and France explore stronger educational and cultural cooperation

During a working visit to France’s Grand Est region, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to France, Gulsara Arystankulova, held meetings with Franck Leroy, head of the Lorraine region, and François Grosdidier, mayor of Metz, Qazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in education and culture between the two countries. One of the key topics was the branch campus of the University of Lorraine at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, which offers International Law programs and is considered one of the major joint educational projects between Kazakhstan and France.

The sides also explored opportunities to strengthen cultural exchanges, including the possibility of organizing performances by Kazakh artistic groups in the French city of Metz.

In addition, both sides discussed attracting investment, boosting regional partnerships, and expanding economic cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants agreed to continue developing collaboration across education, culture, and economic relations.
