France's POMA to build cableway in Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - A new cable road will be opened in Almaty in 2015. The cable way will be constructed by a French company POMA in Koktobe Park.
Almaty city administration and the French company signed the memorandum of cooperation to this end on Saturday. Almaty mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov and President of France Francois Hollande who is on official visit to Almaty attended the signing ceremony. "The document signed today with POMA company will give a new impulse to the development of bilateral relations," mayor Yessimov noted. Head of the tourism department of Almaty city Bakhytzhan Zholamanov added that the cableway will be put into commission in summer 2015.
