Day twelve of the tournament will feature five group-stage matches across Groups I, J and K, with several teams looking to take a major step toward the knockout rounds.

The action gets underway in Group J, where Argentina will face Austria at 10:00 PM Astana time. Lionel Messi's side opened their campaign with a convincing victory over Algeria and will be aiming to strengthen their grip on the group.

In Group I, France will take on Iraq at 2:00 AM Astana time. Three hours later, Norway will meet Senegal in another key encounter, with both European and African sides still firmly in contention for a place in the round of 32.

Group J action resumes at 8:00 AM Astana time when Jordan face Algeria. Both teams are seeking their first points of the tournament after opening-match defeats.

The day's final fixture will attract particular attention across Central Asia as Portugal take on Uzbekistan in Group K at 10:00 PM Astana time. Uzbekistan will be hoping to bounce back after their loss to Colombia, while Portugal are under pressure to secure their first win following a draw with DR Congo. The match will also be closely watched after growing debate over Cristiano Ronaldo's role in the Portuguese national team.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is being hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico and will run through July 19.
