FIFA grants Kazakhstan USD 250,000 for development of children’s football
FIFA will allocate 250,000 US dollars to Kazakhstan under the FIFA Talent Development Scheme for 2026, Qazinform News Agency reports.
According to the Kazakh Football Federation, the grant will support the children’s and youth football development in Kazakhstan.
Of which 125,000 US dollars will be directed to the large-scale project Future Champions, focused on scouting and selecting promising young players.
50,000 USA dollars will be channeled for training seminars for coaches and scouts, and another 50,000 US dollars will cover operational expenses under the FIFA Operations Project.
25,000 US dollars will be allocated for child protection standards and psychological support programs.
The FIFA Talent Development Scheme provides comprehensive support to national associations worldwide in scouting, nurturing, and guiding young football talent.
Recently, UEFA allocated 7.7 million euros to Kazakh football clubs.
However, Kazakhstan will not be able to field two teams in the UEFA Youth League 2026–2027 season.
