CSTO and stability in C Asia 'roundtable' held in Almaty

ALMATY. July 2. KAZINFORM Experts of scientific-research institutes of Kazakhstan and Russia answered the questions of the mass media representatives during the briefing that was held at the Kazakh Institute of Strategic Research under the President of Kazakhstan in Almaty.
The briefing was held within the roundtable session on "CSTO and Stability in Central Asia", where heads of the Kazakhstan Security Council, the CSTO Secretariat, representatives of the public authorities and experts of the both countries participated.
Key tendencies of geopolitical situation development in Central Asia, current situation and further perspectives of the CSTO member counties' interaction on formation of the system of collective security and counter-acting to modern threats and challenges given the latest developments and processes in the global regional security were considered at the session.
