Amelina Bakiyeva claims gold at 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain

Amelina Bakiyeva, a member of the Kazakhstan traditional MMA team, clinched a gold medal at the 2025 Asian Youth Games ongoing in Manama (Bahrain), Kazinform News Agency reports citing the National Olympic Committee.
The Kazakh athlete overwhelmed Shriya Satam from India in the Girls' 50kg final bout.
Earlier, Kazakhstan's road cycling team and taekwondo athlete Aiym Serikbayeva took first at the event.
