Scorching heat to grip Almaty city

Almaty city will brace for sweltering temperatures on Saturday with the mercury soaring as high as 35-37 degrees Celsius, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The Almaty emergency department urges all to follow safety rules, not to leave children unattended in parked cars, and to avoid non-essential trips to prevent sun strokes.
Abnormal heat was also set to +43°C forecast in southern Kazakhstan.
