New media partnership: Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex and RTCG sign memorandum
Today, as part of the official visit of the President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović to Astana, the TV and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Radio and Television of Montenegro (Radio-televizija Crne Gore, RTCG) have entered into a memorandum of mutual understanding and cooperation, Qazinform News Agency reports.
The first cooperation document between the Kazakh and Montenegrin media was signed by Deputy Director of the Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex Tlegen Abishev and General Director of RTCG Boris Raonić.
The document lays foundation for the development of bilateral cooperation in the areas of news exchange, joint coverage of events and activities, as well as for sharing the best practices and modern methods of media production.
At the initial stage, the priority area of cooperation between the two countries’ largest media companies will be mutual support in expanding audience access to timely and unbiased information about events in Kazakhstan and Montenegro.
The development of cooperation with Montenegrin media is part of a comprehensive strategy of the Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex to scale up its partner network in European countries, where similar agreements have previously been signed with Belga News, BTA, Novinata, FENA, Agenzia Nova, Adnkronos, CNA, RTS, Tanjug, TASR, and other media companies.
