Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan to deepen cooperation in archival affairs
Uzarchive under the Justice Ministry of Uzbekistan and the Archive of the President of Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Understanding, Qazinform News Agency learnt from UzA.
The memo provides for joint efforts to safeguard and utilize national archival collections, facilitate scholarly studies based on archival materials and develop electronic collections and modern technologies.
Internships, advanced training, and exchanges for specialists, conferences, seminars, and roundtables will be held as part of the memo to share expertise.
Both sides agreed to pursue mutually beneficial projects, strengthen professional ties, and enhance experience-sharing initiatives. The cooperation aims to preserve historical and documentary heritage while making it more accessible for future generations.
Earlier, the Archive of the President of Kazakhstan and the National Archives of Qatar signed a memorandum of understanding.
