31 Daesh-linked suspects detained during Eid holiday operations in Türkiye

Operations code-named “Bozdoğan-46” netted 31 people across six Türkiye’s provinces. The individuals are suspected of aiding and abetting terrorism, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

As reported by the Ministry of the Interior, the special operation was conducted in six Turkish provinces simultaneously to address the terrorist aspirations of ISIS (an organization designated as a terrorist organization whose activities are prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
In the cities of Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Mersin, Ordu, and Istanbul, 31 individuals were taken into custody on suspicion of being involved in Daesh.
It should be noted that the dissemination of additional information is not currently being considered in the interests of the investigation. At this time, the suspects have been transported to the temporary detention center.
