The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is an intergovernmental military alliance in Eurasia formed in 2002, originally consisting of six post-Soviet states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
