Uzbekistan and France to hold high-level talks

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived in Paris on a state visit at the invitation of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, UzA reports.

Upon arrival, the Minister for National Education, Higher Education and Research of France, Élisabeth Borne, Military Governor of Paris Loïc Mizon, and other officials welcomed the Leader of Uzbekistan at the airport.

In honor of the distinguished guest, the national flags of both countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up at the VIP Lounge of Orly International Airport.

At the residence where the Uzbekistan delegation is staying, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was warmly welcomed by a group of compatriots, including students, professionals, and researchers in France. The Head of state sincerely conversed with them, wishing them success in their studies and research.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for today, March 12.

According to the visit program, high-level Uzbekistan – France talks will take place at the Élysée Palace.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also meet with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and participate in a roundtable discussion with representatives of leading French companies and banks.

As reported earlier, at the invitation of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will pay a state visit to France from March 11 to 13.
