USAID supports Kazakh export to Afghanistan
The trade mission included 14 heads of Kazakh companies, who visited Kabul last week to promote Kazakhstan's production and hold trade talks with Afghan entrepreneurs. The event was attended by representatives of more than 100 Afghan companies.
According to preliminary results of trade negotiations, Kazakhstan's companies intend to export to Afghanistan sunflower oil, glass, pharmaceuticals, flour, pasta, building materials and household chemicals.
"This has been a successful trip to Kabul. It is a good example of promoting trade which helps Kazakhstan promote a sustainable future in Afghanistan. Being a partner of Kazakhstan in the development of international trade is a great honor for USAID”, said Michael Trueblood, director of the Department of Economic Development of the United States Agency for International Development in Central Asia.
