US & Kazakhstan to adopt special statement on further rehabilitation of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site – Nursultan Nazarbayev

The President noted that the Nuclear Security Summit plays a very important role for peace and security in the world. Kazakhstan is a very active participant in the process of disarmament and non-proliferation, as a state, which closed the world's largest Semipalatinsk nuclear test site and renounced nuclear arsenal.

Nursultan Nazarbayev said that the second day of the Summit in The Hague will discuss the place and time of the next event.
