ABU DHABI. KAZINFORM - The military intervention of the UAE in Yemen was inevitable due the Houthi revolution, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the UAE Anwar Gargash told via social networks.
Five Arabic countries of the Persian Gulf: the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia being a part of the international coalition of the ten countries began a military operation against Houthi rebels in Yemen.
Earlier Mr. Hadi appealed to members of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) to intervene.
GCC members Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates agreed to answer President Hadi's call for help.
"It is the time to answer the violence of the members of Houthi Ansarullah Movement carrying strategic threats to the countries of the Persian Gulf," he said.
