U.S. Universities Fair kicked off in Almaty

ALMATY. June 15. KAZINFORM The U.S has more than 4000 universities, and notwithstanding your interests, you could decide on an educational program answering your purpose, U.S. Consul General Michael G. Snowden has announced today at the opening ceremony of the first Educational Fair of the U.S Universities' graduates.

"American universities offer top-notch education programs with highly qualified professors. We are proud of the citizens of Kazakhstan, who have successfully completed their education in our country.

"They are rightfully considered to be the best representatives of Kazakhstan and they are ready to explain to students why they should go to the United States for higher education. This cooperation between Kazakhstan graduates and the U.S. universities is one of the many bridges that unite our countries," M. Snowden said.

During the event, presentations on the financial support of the application process to U.S. universities, procedures for obtaining student visas and free academic advising are held, as well as graduates of American universities meet each other.

The Organizer of the Fair is the U.S. Consulate General in Almaty, in collaboration with the EducationUSA Almaty.
