Two Russians arrested for murder in Almaty

The police has been called by a 32-year-old man, who, along with the victim, was renting the apartment.

During the search operations were detained two citizens of Russia and one from Almaty. Arrested Russian men explained that they had arrived in Almaty for the money debt.

The killed, along with his friends, had started in Almaty a gambling business. They took a credit for the venture in Russia. And, as the businessmen were not giving the the debt back (16,000 U.S. dollars), one of them was killed.

Two Russian guys have pleaded guilty. They are now in the city's Department of Internal Affairs. A criminal case has been opened under Art. 96 Part 2 ("murder", 10-20 years with confiscation or imprisonment for life)

Another detainee is in the Almalinsky police department for further investigation.
