President Tokayev said he is honored to welcome his Turkish counterpart to the heart of the Great Steppe - to the land that serves as a pillar of the entire Turkic world.

Türkiye is a brotherly country for us, an important and reliable partner. Our peoples share common history and spiritual values. The deep roots of our ties contribute to the further strengthening of the indestructible friendship between our nations today. Currently, Kazakh-Turkish bilateral relations are developing dynamically in the spirit of expanded strategic partnership. There are no unresolved issues between our countries, said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Kazakhstani president highlighted the strengthening of interstate and intergovernmental relations, underscored by robust inter-parliamentary cooperation, evidenced by the inclusion of parliamentary and party representatives in the Turkish delegation.

Economic cooperation between the two countries continues to strengthen. Türkiye is among our largest investors. To date, 6 billion US dollars in investments has been attracted from your country into our economy. Kazakhstan's investments in Türkiye have also grown, amounting to around 2.5 billion US dollars. Türkiye is also one of our main trading partners. The cultural and humanitarian ties between the two peoples are the golden foundation of our relations. We intend to maintain this positive momentum and further expand the framework of our cooperation, noted President Tokayev.
