Kazakhstan honors President Erdoğan for his contribution to strengthening cooperation

The newly established Khoja Ahmed Yassawi Order will be awarded for the first time to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said today at the 6th meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Astana, Qazinform News Agency reports.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev praised the contribution of the President of Türkiye to strengthening bilateral cooperation, noting his role in advancing ties in political, social, and cultural spheres.

The award is named after the renowned scholar and spiritual leader Khoja Ahmed Yassawi.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that presenting the order to President Erdoğan is a symbol of respect from the Kazakh people and a vivid expression of brotherly friendship between Kazakhstan and Türkiye.

As stated previously, Kazakhstan and Türkiye will adopt a Declaration on Eternal Friendship and Expanded Strategic Partnership.
