Telegram unveils plans to display month, country of registration of accounts

Telegram founder Pavel Durov who had recently paid a visit to Kazakhstan revealed that the messaging app plans to step up efforts to combat crypto scams by displaying the registration month and principal country for public accounts, Kazinform News Agency reports.
“We will also ramp up our efforts to fight the scammers trying to defraud new entrants into the crypto realm. Soon, Telegram will start displaying the month of registration and principal country for public accounts,” Durov said.
According to sostav.ru, the social network also announced plans to roll out a mini app store and an in-app browser with support of web3 pages.
