ALMATY. November 14. KAZINFORM — Kazakhstan is a country with a huge potential for growth and continually developing society, this has been announced today in Almaty at the meeting with journalists by Takuya Hirano, the general manager of Microsoft Central and Eastern Europe.

He introduced a new head of Microsoft in Kazakhstan Alexey Reshtenko. The company representatives also spoke about new products and their benefits. It was emphasized that Kazakhstan has important and promising market for Microsoft company.

The enterprise opened the office in Almaty in 2002. The branch is being involved in numerous projects in the field of cloud computing, software and services, cooperation with government, business and NGOs and focusing on social responsibility. In June 2013 the Microsoft has signed a number of agreements on strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and Science as well as with the Nazarbayev University.

"This is a unique moment as the Kazakhstan's economy is developing at fast pace, Microsoft is rapidly transforming in the direction of Devices and Services", said Hirano.
