State Counselor Karin meets with Saida Mirziyoyeva
Kazakhstan’s State Counselor Erlan Karin today met with Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, Qazinform News Agency reports, citing Akorda.
Erlan Karin briefed Saida Mirziyoyeva on the key areas of the reforms being carried out in Kazakhstan at the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He also spoke about efforts to establish a new system of values based on the principles of Law and Order and Taza Qazaqstan (Clean Kazakhstan).
“During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian spheres, paying particular attention to further strengthening bilateral ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan,” the statement said.

Earlier, Qazinform reported Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had had a meeting with Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the sides discussed ways to further expand bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. They also exchanged views on the systemic political and socio-economic reforms being implemented in both countries.
