Special Envoy of Kazakhstan’s President visits New Zealand

According to the press service of the Senate, during his visit Special Envoy S.Gromov met with Deputy Foreign Minister of New Zealand Gerard van Bohemen and handed him over the message of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev addressed to Prime Minister John Key. Gerard van Bohemen paid special attention to inter-ethnic and inter-religious accord in the country. He highlighted the role of the unique institution of the country People's Assembly and the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. New Zealand diplomat was also informed about the main events of internal and external policy of Kazakhstan including the new economic policy "Nurly Zhol". New Zealand companies were invited to implement joint projects in the agro-industrial field in Kazakhstan. In addition, the special envoy Gromov briefed his interlocutors on the preparations for the international exhibition Expo-2017.
