Spain's presence in Almaty industrial park could be a new area of cooperation - Almaty Mayor

15 businesses with the Spanish capital and 12 joint ventures engaged mainly in sales of equipment, manufacturing of plastic products, construction are registered in Almaty. Almaty exports to Spain oil, minor amounts of titanium and its products. Spain supplies to Almaty cellulose products, cosmetics, medicines, hardware and production lines, medical devices, etc.

"The new area of Kazakh-Spanish cooperation could be the presence of Spanish companies in the industrial park of Almaty, which is planned to comprise more than 100 companies, as well as in the development of a special economic zone "Information Technology Park "Alatau IT City", the head of the city noted.
