Singapore willing to invest in Ski Tourism of Kazakhstan

ALMATY. October 24. KAZINFORM — Akim of Almaty city Akhmetzhan Yesimov has received the Minister of the Prime Minister's Office of Singapore Grace Fu, the press office of the Akimat informs.
The meeting discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between Singapore and Almaty as well as strengthening of partnership in the financial sector.
Akhmetzhan Yesimov noted that Almaty city is Kazakhstan's economic locomotive. The city gives 20% of GDP and 25 % of taxes to the state budget.
"Our President puts Singapore's development as a good example", said Yesimov.
In turn, the Minister noted that Singapore is interested in Almaty as in a reliable partner and the country is willing to invest in the development of ski tourism of Almaty region.
