Senate ratifies Agr't on organization of rescue operations on CIS air defense in case of hijacking

ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM - Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the plenary session has adopted the Law «On ratification of the Agreement on the organization of air defence officers of the CIS states in case of obtaining information about hijacking».
Kazakh Deputy Minister of Defense Okas Saparov noted that the Agreement is to ensure the safe use of airspace, counter terrorism, to ensure a uniform procedure for air defense officers of the CIS countries in case of aircraft theft or hijacking.
The Agreement was made in Dushanbe on September 3, 2011.
