Secretaries of Kazakh and Russian Security Councils hold talks in Astana

The Secretaries of the Security Councils of Kazakhstan and Russia, Gizat Nurdauletov and Sergei Shoigu, held extensive regular consultations in the Kazakh capital Astana, Akorda reports.

The interlocutors discussed the pressing issues of cooperation, the current situation in global and regional security as well as exchanged views on measures necessary for boosting cooperation to ensure security.
Such consultations are held regularly under the adopted cooperation plan.
Earlier it was reported that Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had received Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu.
