Quake jolts 270 km away from Almaty

Kazakh seismologists recorded an earthquake, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The 4.5 M quake was centered 270 km southeast of Almaty in China. Its energy class is 8.9.
No tremors were felt in Kazakhstan.
On January 29, a 5.6M earthquake struck Russia’s Lake Baikal.
