Prime Minister Smailov arrives in Almaty for working trip

Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov arrived in Almaty for a working trip. He is expected to participate in the Digital Almaty 2024: Industry X Forum and in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC), Kazinform News Agency reports.
The heads of government of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan will survey an exhibition of digital projects and will attend a plenary session and the ceremony of presenting the Digital Almaty Awards.
The EIGC meeting will discuss the topical issues of cooperation in trade, transport, logistics, digitalization, paperwork, etc.
Smailov is also expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the EIGC meeting.
