President Tokayev examines Regional Perinatal Center in Aktobe
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Regional Perinatal Center in Aktobe, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.

Tokayev was briefed that the medical facility welcomes 8,200 as well as that up to 13,000 patients receive treatment annually. Under the Ansagan sabi project, 130 IVF treatments are underway and 200 children undergo rehabilitation at the early intervention center.

As the Head of State was informed, the Center has conducted 50 cardiosurgical and ophthalmologic operations for children with congenital disorders, which were previously sent to Astana for treatment.
The President was also presented with the One-Day Clinic underway since the beginning of the year. Under the project, aimed for early detection of genetic diseases, 6,000 women have undergone health examinations.

During the visit, President Tokayev held a conversation with the health workers and wished them success in their work.
Earlier it was reported that the Head of Stare inspected a number of industrial facilities as well as familiarized with the activities of the social facilities in Aktobe region.
