President's special envoy S. Dyachenko visited Bosnia and Herzegovina
At the meeting with Mladen Ivanic, the special envoy of the President of Kazakhstan conveyed the wishes of prosperity and success to the country from N. Nazarbayev. S. Dyachenko noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina was an important political partner of Kazakhstan in the region. He also noted that the political cooperation between the two countries was developing on the basis of mutual understanding and trust. Kazakhstan highly praised Bosnia's support of the initiatives of Kazakhstan on the presidency in the OSCE and the EXPO-2017 and cooperation within the international organizations. S. Dyachenko drew attention to the necessity of development of trade and economic cooperation because the countries had a great potential for boosting the trade turnover and the necessity of improvement of the legal framework of bilateral cooperation.
He also told about the achievements of Kazakhstan over the recent decade in social, economic and political spheres. It was noted that Kazakhstan accumulated over 80% of all the investments attracted to Central Asia from Europe, America and Asia. The volume of those investments is about USD 200 bln. He also informed the top officials of the country about the adopted by Kazakhstan new program on development of the economic policy - 'Nurly Zhol', which was initiated by President Nazarbayev.
In regard to the world agenda, S. Dyachenko emphasized that Kazakhstan condemns any acts of terrorism and extremism. Kazakhstan has always been and remains to be committed to interreligious and interethnic tolerance and peaceful settlement of conflicts. Kazakhstan made a significant contribution to promotion of the issues of religious and global security within the framework of such international organizations as the OSCE and the SCO.
The role of Kazakhstan in stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan was truly important in strengthening of the regional security.
Kazakhstan as a member of the international community also contributes to the international peacekeeping mission of the UN on preserving peace and stability in the other regions. S. Dyachenko also requested Bosnia and Herzegovina to support the candidature of Kazakhstan to become the non-permanent member of the Security Council of the UN and handed personal message from President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev over to Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanic.
In turn, Mladen Ivanic thanked the special envoy for the warm words and financial assistance rendered to Bosnia to fight the flood and its consequences. He also expressed satisfaction with development of bilateral relations between the countries and emphasized the necessity of deepening the bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic, investment and legal spheres. Moreover, he noted the contribution of Kazakhstan to strengthening of the security in the region and in globally and called Kazakhstan the center of the peace and development in Central Asia.
