Poland’s Polpharma Group seeks to open Quality and Innovation Center in Kazakhstan

First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar held a meeting with Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Polpharma Group Jerzy Starak, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakh government.

Polpharma Group is the largest pharmaceutical company operating in Kazakh and Polish markets.

During the meeting, the sides discussed implementation of the ongoing pharmaceutical projects and the company’s intent to open a Center of Quality and Innovation, which will include a research test center and a laboratory complex, housing new labs on quality control, test and mycology labs as well as will conduct studies to develop new products.

In conclusion, Sklyar vowed that the Kazakh government attaches great significance to the cooperation with Polpharma Group and is ready for further interaction.

Earlier it was reported that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met Jerzy Starak, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Polpharma, on the sidelines of the 36th plenary meeting of the Foreign Investors' Council in the Kazakh capital of Astana.
