Khalyk Kenesi to hold first session in Astana on Sept 23-24

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree convening the first session of the Khalyk Kenesi (People’s Council), Qazinform News Agency reports, citing Akorda.

According to the decree, the first session of the Khalyk Kenesi will be held in Astana on September 23-24, 2026.

Earlier, Qazinform reported President Tokayev approved the 126-member composition of the Khalyk Kenesi by decree.
