People's Assembly played important role in history of Kazakhstan - Nazarbayev

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The People's Assembly of Kazakhstan has played an important role in the history of the country's independence, the congratulatory message of President Nursultan Nazarbayev on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Assembly says, according to the Akorda press service.

"Dear Kazakhstanis! I wholeheartedly congratulate all of you on the 20th anniversary of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan. The People's Assembly of Kazakhstan is a solid foundation of peace and accord, friendship of all nationalities residing in Kazakhstan. Over the years of its existence the Assembly has played an important role in the strengthening of our Independence, adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, implementation of profound economic reforms, sweeping modernization of political and social foundations.

The People's Assembly of Kazakhstan is the institute that promotes the feeling of unity, tolerance, patriotism and diligence. It greatly contributes to the implementation of the Kazakhstan-2050 Development Strategy and new anti-crisis policy "Nurly zhol - Path to the Future".

I wish the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan and all Kazakhstanis to enhance their friendship and unity and work for the benefit of our Motherland - the Republic of Kazakhstan!", the message reads.
