Parliament adopted amendments aimed at increasing transparency of tariff setting

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - At the plenary sitting of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, the amendments submitted by the Senate to the draft law "On amendments to several legislation acts on the issues of natural monopolies and regulated markets" were considered.
"The Senate made 13 amendments to the draft law. The amendments are aimed at modernization of the public transport in Astana city, landscaping, introduction of еру smart transport system and defining of the competence of the local executive bodies working in this sphere. In this regard, the amendments made by the Senate are found appropriate," member of the committee for economic reforms and regional development Askar Bazarbayev said.
Upon the completion of the sitting, the submitted amendments were adopted.
