Pakistan's exports increase over 7 pct in 9 months
Pakistan's exports increased over 7 percent in the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2024-2025, compared to the same period of the last fiscal year, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) said on Friday, Xinhua reports.

The country's exports in the period were recorded at 24.690 billion U.S. dollars, showing a growth of 7.69 percent, according to the PBS.
On a year-on-year basis, exports in March 2025 increased 1.95 percent to 2.617 billion dollars, the PBS said.
On a month-on-month basis, exports in March went up 5.10 percent.
Meanwhile, imports surged 6.33 percent to 42.589 billion dollars during the first nine months of the current fiscal year.
As earlier reported, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed Kazakhstan's readiness to boost its exports to the EU by over 2 billion US dollars.
