Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulates People's Assembly of Kazakhstan on 20th anniversary

"The People's Assembly of Kazakhstan is a solid foundation of peace and accord, friendship of all nationalities residing in Kazakhstan. Over the years of its existence the Assembly has played an important role in the implementation of economic reforms, modernization of political and social foundations," the message reads. In the message the Head of State notes that the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan is the institute that promotes the feeling of unity, tolerance, patriotism and diligence. "It greatly contributes to the implementation of the Kazakhstan-2050 Development Strategy and new anti-crisis policy "Nurly zhol - Path to the Future"," it says. Kazakhstani parliamentarians, members of the Assembly, prominent public figures, reps of ethno-cultural associations, non-governmental organizations, researchers and cultural figures and youth participate in the forum. NOTE: The Kazakh President signed the Decree on the establishment of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan on March 1, 1995.
