New concert venue Alatau Hall unveiled in Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov unveiled a new concert venue Alatau Hall in Almaty city on Wednesday.
Designed by Tokhtar Yeraliyev, the new modernly equipped concert hall has 790 seats and two cinema halls with 125 seats each. Built in compliance with the state-of-the-art technologies, the new building has become the first concert venue erected in Almaty since 1979. It's worth mentioning that by 2017 the Alatau Hall will be surrounded by sports facilities - an ice arena and an Olympic village constructed in the city for the upcoming Universiade-2017.
