Man sentenced to 13 years in jail for killing his father

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Specialized inter-district criminal court of Almaty region has considered a criminal case against a native of the city of Almaty who committed the murder of his father, the press service of the court informs.
According to the criminal case on the day the crime was committed the family was preparing for a house warming party. The father and the son quarreled in front of family and friends on the basis of family disagreements. The old man hit his son in his head. The younger opponent flared up and inflicted several stab wounds to his father. From his injuries the victim died before the arrival of the ambulance. The man was convicted of the murder of his father and sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment in a penal colony.
