Majilis ratifies agr’t on the protection of classified information within CIS

"The agreement was signed by the heads of states on October 25, 2013 in Minsk. It was developed on the basis of provisions of the Agreement on mutual protection of classified information within the Collective Security Treaty Organization. The purpose of this document is to ensure security of classified information of CIS. Kazakhstan National Security Committee is proposed to be the competent authority responsible for the implementation of the Agreement. It should be noted that the National Security Committee is the sole body in our country responsible for the implementation of agreements on mutual protection of classified information within the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization," said the head of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov presenting the bill.
