Majilis chairman K.Dzhakupov and US Ambassador G.Krol discuss presidential elections in Kazakhstan

Congratulating the diplomat on his appointment Mr.Dzhakupov expressed confidence that his activity will promote further strengthening of political dialogue and mutual understanding between the two states. According to the press service of the Majilis, special attention was paid to the presidential elections held April 26 in Kazakhstan. Noting the unprecedented high voter turnout Kabibulla Dzhakupov stressed that Kazakhstanis cast their votes for peace and stability in the country. Mr.Krol, in turn, congratulated Kazakhstanis on successful holding of the presidential elections, which results, according to the diplomat, have clearly reflected the will of the people. Interlocutors highlighted five institutional reforms initiated by the leader of the Nation. Kabibulla Dzhakupov and George Krol also noted the strategic nature of the Kazakh-American relations. They expressed confidence that the countries have great potential in trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, technology and innovation, as well as in the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation. Majilis Speaker informed the American diplomat about the most important programs being implemented in the country - "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy and "Nurly Zhol".
