Majilis approved ratification of agreement with Belarus on readmission

ASTANA. KAZINFIORM - The Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan approved the draft law "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of Belarus on readmission and the protocol on fulfillment of the agreement between the governments".
"The agreement was signed in Astana on October 4, 2013. It was signed by the ministers of internal affairs of Kazakhstan and Belarus on behalf of the Presidents of both countries. The agreement provides for detection and return of the people who illegally arrived in the country and stay in it against the law. Astana and Almaty airports were defined as the readmission points," Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Malmukhanbet Kassymov said presenting the draft law.
According to him, the internal affairs ministries of Belarus and Kazakhstan are the competent bodies responsible for fulfillment of the agreement.
