M5.4 earthquake strikes Fiji Islands

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck the Fiji Islands region on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said, WAM reports.

The GFZ said the earthquake struck at a depth of 584.5 km.

Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that the death toll from the two devastating earthquakes in Venezuela had risen to 4,734.
