M5 quake rocks China

An earthquake of magnitude 5 occurred May 31, at 01:28 pm Astana time in China, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the Institute of Geophysical Research National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The epicenter was determined to be at 42.14 degrees north latitude and 81.04 degrees east longitude.
The energy class is 11.2.
Earlier it was reported aftershocks had been felt northeast of Almaty.
