M4.7 earthquake strikes near Iceland

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck 105 km west-northwest of Höfn, Iceland, on Monday, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS), Qazinform News Agency reports.
The earthquake occurred at 17:28:24 UTC on October 5 at a depth of 10 km. Its epicenter was located at 64.509°N, 17.312°W.
Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that a magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck Afghanistan on October 1.
