M4.6 earthquake strikes Mexico

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake was recorded 28 kilometers northeast of Niños Héroes in Mexico’s Veracruz state on August 19, Qazinform News Agency reports.
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake occurred at 20:06:29.427 UTC at a depth of 178.3 kilometers.
Its epicenter was recorded at 17.605°N latitude and 94.302°W longitude.
Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that a 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck Haixi Prefecture in northwest China’s Qinghai Province.
