M2 tremors felt in Almaty

The Seismological Stations Network of the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry recorded an earthquake in the territory of China, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The epicenter of the quake was 259 kilometers southeast of Almaty, at a depth of 5 kilometers.
The quake hit at 10:08 am. Its energy class made 11.8 and MPV magnitude was 5.2. The coordinates of the epicenter are 41.25° north latitude and 78.63° east longitude.
